International Summer Session

Fudan University in Shanghai, China

Relevant Coursework-

  • Chinese Culture & Business Practices

  • China's Modern Economy

  • Elementary Mandarin

Fudan University is one of the most prestigious and selective universities in China, an Ivy League equivalent.

While studying the intensive courses part of the International Summer Session I was able to learn valuable lessons both inside the classrooms and out. I also had the opportunity to visit a global automobile manufacturer's plant and an ancient water town which gave me further insight into business operations and the way of life of the people.

Exploring the country, interacting with the locals and businesses, and immersing myself in the culture is an experience that I gained so much from and will never forget.

I have also been a part of a number of other activities and won awards such as -

  • State-level soccer player

  • Participated in and won awards at multiple Model United Nations conferences

  • Served as a judge at writing and debate competitions in college

  • Won a 'best debate team' award

  • Gold medallist (High school topper) in Mathematics and Economics
